Homework and assignments recap:

• I remind you that from NOW on, we meet at the CEDOC Room 3 every Wednesday morning at 8:15 (M1). This will be a discussion hour, with some research, some presentations on the book you selected Edgar Alan and 12 angry men. We’ll be starting Edgar Alan after the Autumn break and 12 Angry Men after the Christmas Break…by the way, they are playing 12 Angry Men in Paris with Michel Leeb, if you have an opportunity to go and see it!!
• Tuesday is Workbook assignment Day…. ;

• Tuesday September 8th assignment was a 700 words composition about you, your past, present, future aspirations, your tastes, hobbies, concerns, friends….anything you would like to share with me (not with the class if you don’t want, then it will be confidential!). I was pleasantly surprised both by your vibrant personalities, dedication and fascinating hobbies and by the excellent level of your English. My impression is confirmed: we are going to have fun!!!
• September 15th you had your first Test …Humm….you’re much better when you don’t think about grammar or vocabulary. You seem to lose your enthusiasm and multiply your mistakes. We’ll work on it thanks to the MPO practice, so nothing to worry about!
• For three weeks, we are going to work on the issue of THE FEMALE FACTOR based on Newsweek’s special issue of September 21st, 2009….

6 OCT: UNIT 5: You will study with Mrs. Magnat, who’s kindly replacing me this week, the Unit 7a (the second part pp.68-69) and 7b…and maybe a bit of the Units 7 c and d depending on your mood and understanding of the Present Perfect Continuous!!!! And remember that in the lab, by the autumn break you should have finished at least the units 1 to 4 on MPO!!!
